Iroshizuku momiji (autumn leaves)

Iroshizuku is a great ink that is produced by Pilot. When the package arrived at my home is was blown away by it's appearance and product design. The names of the ink's sound very exotic. This ink was bought at Jetpens in Japan.

Color
It is a great color. I never seen such a beautiful red. It is kind of red with some pink reminding of strawberry's.

Writing
This ink is very great. I was never more excited about a fountain pen ink (besides Noodler's Black) then this one. The flow is great, the drying time is fabulous. It writes like a dream. No feathering on Moleskinepaper, no bleedtrough either. This ink has little shading but it is great.

Iroshizuku momiji
If you can't read my handwriting here's the text:
"Isoshizuku momiji

My Lamy Vista filled with Iroshizuku momiji. Lamy Vista is a fine nib.

The color is red a little like strawberry's. The red is not poppy but a great red.

This ink on this Moleskine paper is a fast dry'er. No more then 5 seconds. Rhodia paper is almost the same.

Momiji means "red leaf" from the maple tree.

Almost no feathering, no bleedtrough and some shading. $ 0,45/ml

Bottle
I love the glass-bottle it was designed to get out all of the ink.

So it is an amazing product. The ink is great and smooth, the package, the bottle everything is perfect. Also this ink is Moleskine-friendly in the Moleskines I tried (5 different ones). So thumbs up again!

For more Iroshizuku pages look on this page for more links and reviews.

The Iroshizuku ink is a luxurious line of inks created to reflect the beautiful natural scenery of Japan. The gorgeous shades will fill your fountain pen with bold, beautiful and vivid colors. Each bottle is a beautifully crafted glass container designed with an innovative dip at the bottom to ensure the savory enjoyment of every last drop. Every bottle has 50ml and are a great piece of art.
