Iroshizuku yama-budo (Bordeaux)

I love Iroshizuku fountain pen ink. They never let me down in a Moleskine. I ordered this bottle of Iroshizuku yama-budo in september 2009 at Jetpens. They have a great assortment of Iroshizuku inks.

Color
It is a very good saturated purple color. The color has almost no shading with my Pelikan M1000 (fine). The picture below reflects to much pink. In real it is between purple and bordeaux.

Color
It is a great green color between blue and green. Great color for every day use. It gets just the attention it needs writing with it between other people ;-) who are writing with blue or black.

Crystal Knife Rests (bought at flea market)

Friday, January 15, 2010

Sometimes I go with my wife or daughter to a flea market on Saterday morning. Up till now I never found a nice fountain pen. Bought found some great vintage ink of Pelikan. This morning I found a nice looking Crystal Knife Rest that I misuse to lay down my fountain pen. When I saw the pictures I noticed that I had to clean them from my fingerprints. So a big sorry for that ;-)

Rohrer & Klingner Old golden green

Tuesday, January 12, 2010

I bought some bottles of Rohrer & Klinger at The Writing Desk from the United Kingdom. A great fast delivering shop. Rohrer & Klingner is a German company that makes ink since 1892. So they must have a lot of experience.
